Dodgy sloping pitch

Massive underachievers hertford 2nds again snatched defeat from the jaws of victory after appearing to edge the game, at least with territorial advantage.

Seemingly having the game in the bag after twice coming from behind to equalise, first with goalkeeper dan kearns belting the ball in from a yard and then with debutant rugby player nick smith drawing hertford level with a classy tevezesque flick, all the momentum was with hertford.
Questionable defending and a terrible pitch let hildas back in it and a pulsating last twenty minutes didn't see anything happen, despite victory being in their grasp hertford again lacked the confidence to tramp hildas to pieces. Consolation was found in a half-decent performance from Toby Wilton.
