Biography
Nicknamed 'banter' at native Oxford outpost LMH (it's a long story) Ovington has made a big early impression on the Blues set-up with his obvious strength and power and somewhat surprising turn of pace as well as his blatant lies concerning perky drinking which will come back to haunt him when the real fitness tests begin. The squad's best economics and management finalist by a country mile, Ovington is forming a good understanding with strike partner Toogood which Blues captain Owen Price will be hoping will prove fruitful througout the season.
His recent appearance in Fit College of the Week in the Cherwell provoked a letter of complaint to the Editor, in which his style was described as 'typical rah'. The following week he was snubbed by the Oxford Student newspaper, the only one of the five goalscorers against Brookes not mentioned in the match report.
Ovington will be hoping to line up against the Blues this coming season in Warwick shirt, a possibility that surely has current Blues captain Paul Rainford sweating.
